Not a Lead Vendor
Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 5, 2026
Not a Lead Vendor (“we,” “us,” or “our”) publishes independent educational material about lead generation, buying leads, lead vendors, and the business processes around them. This Privacy Policy explains how this website, notaleadvendor.com, handles information in its current configuration.
This policy will be updated when we add features such as a newsletter, quiz, calculator, browser push notifications, or other forms of data collection. It is a plain-language description of the site’s practices, not legal advice.
Information you provide
You can read the site without creating an account. We do not currently operate a public member account, newsletter signup, quiz, calculator submission, or comment program.
If you contact us through the Contact page or another channel we publish, we receive the information you choose to send, such as your name, email address, and the contents of your message. We use it to respond, keep a reasonable record of the conversation, and handle the request.
Please do not send passwords, payment-card details, government identification numbers, or other sensitive information through the website or by email.
Information collected automatically
When you visit a website, the browser and hosting systems may process technical information such as your IP address, device and browser type, requested pages, referring page, date and time, and security or error information. Our hosting provider and WordPress may process this information to deliver the site, protect it, troubleshoot problems, and maintain performance.
We use Site Kit by Google to connect site-owner tools. Google Analytics may process information about how visitors use the site, such as pages viewed, approximate location derived from an IP address, device information, and interactions. We use that information in aggregate to understand which material is useful and improve the publication. Google’s policies explain how it handles information when a site uses its services: How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
Cookies and similar technologies
WordPress, the hosting and security systems, Google Analytics, and advertising services may use cookies or similar technologies. Some are necessary for site operation or security. Others help us measure use or, if advertising is enabled, help Google and its partners measure and personalize advertising.
If Google AdSense is enabled, third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on a visitor’s prior visits to this site or other websites. Google explains its advertising cookies and the choices available to visitors in its AdSense Required content guidance. Visitors can manage personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings or, where available, Your Ad Choices.
Depending on where you visit from and which services are active, we may display a consent message and ask for permission before using non-essential cookies or processing data for personalized advertising. You can also control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies may affect some website functions.
How we use information
- provide, secure, maintain, and troubleshoot the website;
- understand traffic and improve articles, navigation, and usability;
- respond to messages sent to us;
- prevent fraud, abuse, and technical attacks; and
- operate and measure advertising when advertising is enabled.
We do not use the site to make decisions about a visitor’s eligibility for insurance, credit, employment, housing, or other services. The site’s articles are educational and are not an offer of insurance, financial advice, or a guarantee of results.
How information is shared
We may share technical or message information with service providers that help us host, secure, analyze, and operate the website, including Hostinger, WordPress-related services, Google Analytics, and Google advertising services when enabled. Those providers process information under their own terms and policies.
We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to valid legal process, protect the site or another person, or investigate abuse.
We do not sell or rent the personal information you send us. We do not place an email address submitted for a contact request on a marketing list without a separate, clear subscription choice.
How long we keep information
We keep contact messages and related information only for as long as reasonably needed to respond, maintain business records, resolve disputes, and meet legal or security obligations. Technical logs and analytics data may be retained by our hosting and service providers according to their own retention settings and policies.
Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or information about the personal data we hold about you, and to object to or restrict some processing. You may also withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To make a request, use the Contact page and describe the request without sending unnecessary sensitive information. We may need to verify a request before acting on it.
You can opt out of personalized Google advertising through Google Ads Settings or Your Ad Choices. You can control cookies in your browser and use any consent controls shown on the site.
Children’s privacy
This publication is intended for a general business audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us through the Contact page.
